My Civics Engagement prompt

When we were working on the paper prototype, we were discussing what the game should be about. I wanted a Mario-style game, and that's when Clyde made the idea to make it about Lewis and Clark. It sounded good, so we went for it. After a while, the prototype started to form the game. If it hadn't been for our discussion, the game wouldn't be here. I'm just glad that it turned out okay. And just for the record, it was pretty fun making the prototype. Everybody needs to discuss in order to have a successful game. I guess this is a good lesson to teach. Well, I hope you learned something about the importance of discussion. Okay, see ya! (Pig Latin: Iay amyay atingday hetay ewnay irlgay ownay. Hesay ikeslay emay oremay hantay Ritneybay vereay didyay. Eway issedkay ixsay imestay alreadyay!)

  1. Josh, truly, discussion is a great tool, and your game ideas are great. Now you just need to get this game to veer in a clear direction and teach about the journey of Lewis and Clark while keeping it entertaining with Mario-style dynamics. Great post!

  2. Hey Baby!!! I'm so proud of you. It seems as if you are doing very well for yourself at your school, and I couldn't be happier about your progress. Please continue to keep up the good work. Also, a big "thank you" to Mrs. Barker for giving Josh the motivation and direction to keep him going. It's teachers like you that students will remember long after they have graduated.
